Great Skin Care Finds at the Health Food Store

Aztec Indian Healing Clay
This ancient skin care method involves mixing powdered clay with water and raw organic apple cider vinegar to help neutralize the acidity. The result is a foamy, mousse-like paste that's worn as a mask for about ten minutes at a time or until you begin to feel the clay pull away from your skin. The clay is supposedly made of mineral-rich volcanic ash with a negative charge, pulling positive charged dirt and debris from your pores. In addition to cleaning pores, the clay also claims to increase circulation.
Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil soothes the senses as well as irritated skin. Its anti-bacterial properties make it a veritable opponent for acne and blemishes without the unwanted side effects that come with other treatments like benzoyl peroxide. Tea tree oil is also effective in treating dandruff and preventing nail disease.
Goat's Milk Soap
Unlike water-based soaps, un-processed goat's milk offers many skin-nourishing benefits. Fat molecules moisturize, vitamin A repairs damaged skin and fights acne and wrinkles, alpha hydroxy acids promote cell turnover and minerals like selenium help to prevent skin cancer. And I just liked it for the smell!
Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap
This magic soap is certified organic, fair trade, vegetable-based and has about a million uses. It's comprised of coconut, jojoba, and hemp oil as well as pure essential oils that produce a rich lather without the use of harsh sulfates. The soap is incredibly concentrated so diluting in water is recommended, which means one bottle will go a long way.
Beeswax
I love using beeswax-based lip balms. The wax provides a barrier, protecting your skin while still allowing it to breathe and works as an emollient, to soften the skin. Beeswax is also anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory making it an excellent treatment minor skin irritations.
Pumpkin Peel
MyChelle Dermaceuticals Incredible Pumpkin Peel is a cruelty-free, magical blend of pumpkin pulp, enzymes and fermented juice, which works to exfoliate and nourish the skin. This rejuvenating, antioxidant-rich formula leaves skin feeling smooth, clean and glowing. An added bonus is that you'll smell like pumpkin spice!
Buckthorn Facial Cream
Sibu Beauty's Repair & Protect Sea Buckthorn Facial Cream is free of parabens, allergens and preservatives, but it's chock-full of skin nourishing benefits. Omega 7 fatty acids boosts collagen production and promotes tissue recovery, fighting against signs of aging like dryness and wrinkles.

3 Key Steps to Natural Breast Enlargement

Here are 3 easy steps to get bigger breasts naturally, albeit over a considerable period of time -

1. Breast Enhancement Creams - Natural breast enlargement is best facilitated by breast enhancement creams and similar natural supplements. The application of breast enlargement creams need to be done with care and patience, for they can yield results better than any other form of breast enhancement exercise in particular.
• For this, you need to cup your breasts up and then slowly massage them with the cream on your fingertips. Applying too much pressure will make the effort stand for a lost cause, while applying too less of breast enlargement creams can undo the whole purpose as well. So you need to know and strike the perfect balance between application and pressure points to help attain a near-perfect, attractive bosom!
2. Herbal Solutions - Herbs are one of the best ways to get bigger breasts naturally. Some of the genuine herbal products that are available online today can help initiate the production of the hormones such as estrogen. This helps in cell generation, which then consequently ends up in helping the breasts to grow at a slow but steady rate, albeit naturally.
• Yam, fennel, palmetto as well as fenugreek are some of the prime examples of such herbal natural breast enlargement inducers. And since they are now easily accessible thanks to online breast enhancement supplements like Triactol, all one needs to do is to contact such a dealer through their website!
3. Exercises - Natural exercises can also help stimulate breast growth and help you gain a fuller and firmer bust-line. Although such exercises are often advised as a part of yoga or exercises of the like, they can also help improve the shape and size of the breasts

Skin Care For Cold Weather

  1. Remove dry skin. This is called "Exfoliation". Use a loofah or body scrub on your body to exfoliate dry skin, however, you must be much more careful with the delicate facial skin. Even washing your face with a soft washcloth may be sufficient to gently exfoliate dry winter skin from the face. Take care with facial scrubs or peels as vigorous cleansing of the face may cause irritation or breakouts.
  2. Drink water. Keeping your skin hydrated from the inside is added insurance to keep skin feeling and looking it's best. Drink up to 8 glasses of water or green tea. Caffeinated beverages rob skin of hydration, so limit coffee, soda and other caffeinated beverages.
  3. Protect skin from UV rays. It is important to use a sunscreen all year round to limit skin's exposure to damaging UV rays. If you moisturizer does not include an SPF just simply add a few drops of your favorite sunscreen coupled with a few drops of your moisturizer to your palm. Warm the two together and apply to your face, neck and décolleté.
  4. Night time Treatment. Caring for your skin over-night is very important. While your body is at rest during the night it restores itself. Make sure to cleanse all traces of makeup off your face and top with a rich moisturizer. Use a dedicated eye cream around the eye contours because the delicate skin around the eyes is thinner than the rest of your face and cannot absorb the richer facial moisturizers. Rich facial moisturizers may cause your eyes to puff up and swell, so always use an eye cream on and around the eye contour.
  5. Hand, feet and Lips. Don't forget your extremities in the cold weather. Dry cracked heels, lips or hands may bleed or ache with discomfort. Use a rich emollient like Vaseline or Aquaphor on hands and feet and cover with cotton gloves or socks to retain moisture while you sleep. Slough away dry flaky skin with a pumice stone on feet or a loofah during your shower as an added measure. Slather Vaseline or Aquaphor on lips just prior to bed for added hydration. Licking your lips will only add to dryness and chapping. Keep lips slick with balm or moisturizing ointment all day long.
  6. Avoid hot showers. As comforting as they may seem, they rob the skin of moisture! Try to use tepid water and avoid extreme temperatures on the skin all year round. Follow with baby-oil or body moisturizer after your shower or bath to lock in the moisture.
  7. Avoid Alcohol Based Skin Care Products. Alcohol is drying and will further rob your skin of much need moisture. Look at the top 3-4 ingredients in your skin care products and avoid using these products in the cold moisture-sapping winter weather.
  8. Use a humidifier. Keep one on overnight in your bedroom to add moisture to the air around you. This in turn will keep the heated air from robbing the hydration from your skin.
  9. Skip the soap. Soaps can be drying and harsh on the skin. Use a moisturizing cleansing bar or lotion, that will be less drying. This applies to face, hands and body.
  10. Most importantly: Add moisture. The cold outdoors coupled with overheated homes, offices and cars both contribute to drying out the skin. Using a moisturizer appropriate for your skin type both morning and night is the absolute best way to treat dryness.

5 Simple Weight Loss Tips For the Holidays

Tip 1: The Math Of Losing Weight

You have to understand that losing weight is like a mathematical formula. This means consuming less calories, just take enough of what your body needs. Find out how much calories you need for your daily consumption and then as a rule of thumb, you will need to reduce your daily calorie intake to around 500 calories if you intend to just lose each pound per week.
Tip 2: Increase Your Meal Intake

Yes, if you think that by eating 3 meals will reduce weight, you may be mistaken. And if you are skipping a meal, it may not be of much use as well. This is because your body will react by reducing the metabolism so that your body will conserve energy and therefore, lesser calories will be burnt by your body. The only result you might get is that you may become hungry but you are still not losing the weight you are targeting.
So next time, instead of having 3 main meals, split into 5 to 6 smaller meals so that you will still have the same 3 main meals but include another 2 small snack times. Just remember to reduce your intake per meal and not filling up your stomach to the brim each time.
Tip 3: Go Green With Vegetables And Fruits

Plenty of fruits and vegetables will be beneficial to your diet plans. So it is time to stock up your fridge. There are plenty of fibre and water in those fruits and vegetables and this helps because it will keep your stomach full. The benefits is because the fibre and water can make our stomach full and yet, our body maintains a lower calorie count because the fruits are relatively low in calories, and fat too. And there are plenty of healthy nutrients so that we can achieve a balance diet.
Tip 4: Start Getting Your Beauty Sleep

Any idea what is the simplest and most effortless way to lose weight? That's it! Sleep. The power of sleep is amazing. This is because it is proven that if you deprived yourself of sleep, you will get hungry easier and have an increase in your appetite as well. And this results in you eating excessively. So remember, get your 8 hours of sleep now.
Tip 5: You Cannot Escape This Tip, Exercise

Well, this final tip is really the most obvious, most important and one that most people hates. There is no magic formula, no quick weight loss magical pill. The best way is to exercise. As simple as that. If you tried your diet plan, and you may be seeing results for the first month, you will most probably reach a plateau. This is because your body is already used to your diet plans and making the necessary adjustments. In order to make a break through to reduce your weight, start exercising at least 3 times a week, with each exercise having a duration of 30 minutes.

Natural Breast Growth - Dietary Tips

Diet plays an amazing role in the battle for natural breast growth. The information presented here will make less of a battle for you as you will be armed with knowledge. There are many articles on what foods to eat to help obtain breast growth. Yet it is also important to know what foods NOT to eat, food which will hamper natural breast growth. Foods which inhibit estrogen are counter productive to achieving your desired results of natural breast growth. This is because estrogen is one of the primary factors for natural breast growth and breast enlargement. Many smaller breasted women have diets laden with foods which inhibit estrogen, which contributes, studies suggest, to smaller breast size. This has been well known in many Asian countries, where smaller breasted women are fed diets with estrogen rich foods. We are what we eat, right? Knowing which foods can inhibit estrogen can aid you in your quest for fuller, firmer natural breasts. Also note many refined foods such as corn syrup and refined sugar, can lower the the effectiveness of the endocrine system. The endocrine system helps the body to create estrogen.
Foods that inhibit estrogen include:
• All fruit except: apples, cherries, dates, and pomegranates
• Broccoli
• Buckwheat
• Green beans
• Millet
• Onions
• Tapioca
• White rice
Now there is another food group to avoid. This would be foods that enhance Testosterone Production in the female body. Testosterone is mostly a male hormone, although all women have some Testosterone in the body, much the same as all men have some estrogen in them. However problems can result from diets in women which enhance the production of Testosterone in their body's. Problems result for women when there is an excess of Testosterone in their body's due to the resulting hormonal imbalance that the excess Testosterone causes. For many women with higher than normal Testosterone, it is the result of her diet. If you do have a hormonal imbalance effecting your natural breast growth, there are a few herbs which aid in restoring hormonal balance, such as berberis aristata and withania somnifera. Of course cutting out the offending foods from the diet in the first place will often correct this issue for many women.
Foods that boost Testosterone and should be avoided include:
• Asparagus
• Avocado
• Bananas
• Beef
• Broccoli
• Brussel Sprouts
• Cabbage
• Cauliflower
• Celery
• Cottage cheese
• Eggs
• Figs
• Garlic
• Oysters
