Vitamins and minerals also support the skin cells to produce collagen for skin rejuvenation. Vitamins A, C, D, E and B are some of the essential vitamins to have a healthy skin. Selenium and zinc are the minerals that are also good for the skin.

 Green leafy vegetables also have vitamins and minerals needed for a healthy skin, especially some vegetables which are believed to be antioxidants good at fighting free radicals. Lycopene as well as lutein are potent antioxidants that prevent formation of wrinkles on the skin. Just the salt Salt is another mineral that is good for the skin. Not taken as a supplement but as skin exfoliant. Other than that, salt should be used on the food with moderation. It retains fluids thus causing bloating. When the skin stretches as in the case of bloating, it causes fine lines to appear and wrinkles to form.
